Hi, I'm Guillaume.
I study Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, with a concentration in Language Technologies (graduating May 2027). I like building things where AI meets real-world problems.
Right now I’m an undergraduate researcher in WAVLab with Shinji Watanabe, working on speech translation for low-resource languages.
I speak English, French and Spanish natively, and German fluently.
What I work on
- Speech and language: cross-lingual speech translation at WAVLab (current research).
- LLM agents and neuro-symbolic AI: getting language models to build formal models that exact solvers can check (SAgenT).
- Generative audio: controllable music generation with Transformers (SoloMuse).
- Geospatial ML and conservation: satellite tools for AI agents (GeoMCP) and elephant habitat corridors (Forest Elephant Corridors).
- LLM reliability, retrieval and synthetic data: TrueAI, ProspectisAI and Dynamiks.AI.
- Earlier conservation work: chimpanzee face recognition and wildlife releases with the Jane Goodall Institute.
